Do we “genetically” inherit it- or “energetically” inherit it?? Yesss...These things manifest into the physical from the mental, emotional and energetic bodies/parts of us. Fighting the trauma through your family line is no joke- and it’s a huge part of the work we are all doing right now. I wouldn’t believe it, except it lives in the body and shows up in sessions...
Who knew your migraines could come from the abuse two or three generations ago? Who knew the heart issues could have derived from heartbreaks from your great grandparents? That the cancer can come from the anger or pain from a whole generation of suffering? It goes on and on- and so much research and books prove the same. From several theories and viewpoints- so it has validated what shows up in my clients’ bodies in clinic. (Thank the gods, because when it first started showing up, I thought I was going a little cray cray...🥰)
So yesss- it can feel like you are swimming against the tide, but like the salmon, you start a brand new generation up there when you make it, tired and worn out- without the remembrances of the past. Sooo worth the work. And your ancestors and future peeps thank you.
All the work that you do, you do for all the generations that come after you. And the ones who came before you literally support and celebrate you. Another thing I wouldn’t have believed but they actually show up in sessions and say so, in their words/mannerisms/insides jokes/remembrances that my clients confirm...and that I don’t usually understand. 😜 And luckily I’m just not that good or imaginative to make that shit up...
